* Mount the Gecko 1/12th foams on wheels with virtually any cyanoacrylate (Superglue) for an excellent bond.



* All Gecko foam rubber products are packaged into PE bags to maintain properties.

*Important Tip: If re-using Gecko foam rubber tyres which have already been treated with additive and then left to stand for a day or more then lightly skim off a thin layer (0.1mm – 0.2mm approx.) with a truer to leave fresh Gecko rubber to apply more additive to – this should improve your traction/grip.

CHAMP Tyres - made by Gecko

In July 2008 Adams Racing Limited was approached by Scott Grocock, a 1/8^th Nitro Oval stock car enthusiast, to develop a range of foam rubber tyre donuts specifically for this exciting oval asphalt RC class, ‘CHAMP’ tyres manufactured using Gecko® technology are the result. Within the last 12 months these tyres have helped drivers sweep most of the major honours in this class including the British, European and now the World Championships. Scott, a top 1/8^th Nitro racer himself, attends many of the major meetings and was in Holland last week end (5^th & 6^th September) for the World Championships where a Dutch driver who first tried the ‘CHAMP’ tyres there then went on to win the whole event using them.

The CHAMP range for 1/8^th Nitro Oval stock cars are outlined in the table below:
