Tony Bishop TQ's & wins A final on Gecko tyres at Macclefield Micro National (Round 4 of the BRCA series)
Our new North American Distributor, Team Marketing America (TMA) have just annouced the availability of the new 1/10th Sedan Electric Gecko 'Competetion 53' tyre. Trued to a 60mm 'RTR' diameter on a 53mm diameter wheel at 28mm wide - this new tyre has been producing some outstanding results in early tests - faster lap times and a more stable/predictable drive. You will see this tyre being used at major Electric Sedan carpet racing events in North America from January. Tony Bishop used Electric Gecko foam tyres (35 hardness all round) to help him gain TQ and win the A final of last week end's Macclesfield Micro National (Round 4 of the BRCA series run on 7th December). Tony was also joined by Danny Conway (2nd) and Alec Springer (3rd) on the podium who were also using Electric Gecko foam tyres. In fact it is known that at least 7 of the 10 A finalists were using Gecko tyres which is adding further proof that the Gecko foam tyre is the preferred choice of the top drivers at most Micro (1/18th scale) Natioanals.

Steve Davies TQ's at Wycombe Micro National on Gecko foams
Steve Davies used a Blaze ST with Electric Gecko tyres to TQ at round 3 of the BRCA Micro National at Wycombe on November 2nd. Steve also won the 'A' final second leg. Gecko tyres also seemed one of the preferred tyre choices for many of the top racers at the event. The Electric Gecko Foam rubber tyres are now available at 58mm diameter ,glued and trued. They should also be a rewarding choice for any driver entering the upcoming Round 4 BRCA Micro National at Macclesfield later this month. New Electric Gecko Tyres
Gecko® Electric tyres are now being increasingly used throughout the UK in 1/10th Electric Touring cars as Drivers are finding they beat all other foam and rubber tyres for grip, with no additives required and excellent wear & chunk resistance. Adams Racing Limited have also started development on a new 1/10th Sedan Electric Gecko tyre with the Gecko rubber mounted on a new 53mm Sedan wheel - this new tyre is initially targeted at the North American indoor carpet racing market and should be available by the end of the year.
Adams Racing Limited have also started development on a new 1/12th Electric Gecko tyre with the Gecko rubber mounted on a new 1/12th wheel. The wheel design has utilsed the experience of some of the very best 1/12th drivers in the world. Watch out for news of the availability of this tyre in 2009.
Prototypes of both the above developments have given outstanding results with both grip and wear showing a significant improvement over the best of the competition.
New Nitro Gecko Tyres
The new 1/10th Touring car Gecko® Nitro tyres (October 2008) are being evaluated by a quickly increasing number of distributors from around the world. These new Nitro Gecko tyres are now available on white Gecko wheels (26mm width fronts & 30mm width rears) and in new packaging that is still based on air tight PE bags which maintains optimum properties.
We look forward to the Gecko® Nitro tyres making a similar impact in 1/10th Touring Car IC as the Electric Gecko® tyres have already made in other Electric RC car sections.
